Any ideas/suggestions for day excursions in Phoenix, AZ? - simplicity day spa
I'm going 2 days in the Phoenix area to spend the next month. This is a break in the week with my husband. Are there any suggestions / ideas / attractions / restaurants ... they are a "must see or not" to the city? I have to be very flexible to be all the ideas, the simplicity sky is the limit, romantic adventure. Two days is not long, but we are ready to make our staying interesting and memorable. We have vehicles for moving to nearby cities would be no problem.

In the heart of metropolitan Phoenix, a series of short rides very good team.
1. South Park and Mountain View - Take Central Ave. South entrance of the park - free admission for day excursions, ads and even (if still available) trails with rentals.
2. Copper Square - a generic name for the city - many bars, restaurants, and if you want a scene from the art boom of the past, in the north of the city.
3. Aventura - Hmmmm, what Skydiving (Skydive Arizona between Phoenix and Tucson, glider rides (Peoria, a suburb near) or "Flight of Discovery" at Sawyer Aviation in the Scottsdale Airpark.
There are many other possibilities - varies according to season and location - but please always think of it, 115 + degrees of frost is not uncommon for some or most of the year and it is very important to stay hydrated at all times.
