Pc To Landline Xbox 360 Controller Connected To PC Via Plug And Charge Kit?

Xbox 360 Controller connected to PC via Plug and Charge kit? - pc to landline

I installed the software for the Xbox 360 (with cable in Vista x32-bit) and is a Plug and Play wire. I wonder if I could still play on my PC with the cable? If I can, I want to know if it is connected to the PC? Or should I search for a different cable for the controllers that connect to my PC?
